Everything is Possible with God

It’s a fresh new year (almost!), and it’s so close to the 100th Birthday of our congregation! Which is so exciting. 

When I was in college, the university that I went to always asked us, “What do you want to do with your one wild and precious life?” Which… was annoying in the beginning, but it’s also a really useful question to ask ourselves, especially at the point in our lives when we know that changes need to be made and need to happen. 

We’ve been talking a lot in the past few years about what our potential future might look like and facing the reality of our current situation. 

One thing we need to continue to do is to DREAM BIG. 

I fear that often times we limit ourselves accidentally and purposefully, forgetting that with God, everything is possible and there are no limits on what we can do to make an impact for Christ in this community and in the greater world.

What are your BIG dreams for us? 

I know it’d help the teams working on these questions immensely to hear back from you, to have more open communication and dialogue. What do we hope for our church in the next 5 to 10 years? 

For us to look exactly like we are? 

To grow and expand? 

To have energy abounding and people being served? 

To have more adult baptisms than there are Sundays in a week?
