Building Dreams, Transforming Lives - November 2022

U&I 4 USI

We’re entering the fifth month of our campaign. We’re almost halfway through the first year of it! That is so difficult to imagine some days. We have some great things going on to continue our fundraising efforts, and we are continuing to partner with the community and other businesses and nonprofits to reach our goal and perhaps even exceed our goals!

One of the main priorities we had for this campaign wasn’t just to raise funds, but it was to build these connections and partnerships with other groups in town. This is something we have been amazing at doing throughout our history as First Christian Church.

We are here to do the work of God, to be God’s hands and feet in our community, and to shine Christ’s light onto the world.

Current ways we have partnered…

· Central Rocky Mountain Region Transformation grant for $8000

· Thomas Family Foundation grant for $15,000

· Texas Roadhouse fundraising

· Edward Jones

· Barb Gorges

As our campaign continues, we’re still looking at ways to connect and fundraise with our community. Please contact the church office if you make a connection or talk to a business or nonprofit in town so we can keep a record.

Upcoming ways you can help…

  • Texas Roadhouse Gift Cards

  • Purchase in increments of $5 up to $100. The campaign receives 10% of this when the gift card is used.

  • Contact Pat Campbell, Ruby Zubrod, Velta Speer, Merle Bailey, Judy Osborn, Jane Lessenger or the church office to make a purchase.

  • Dine to Donate at Texas Roadhouse

  • On Monday November 7th from 3 pm to 9 pm go eat dinner. Make sure to bring a flyer. The church will receive 10% of the money spent on meals.

  • Dine to Donate Table

  • On Monday November 7th from 3 pm to 9 pm we will have a table at Texas Roadhouse to talk about our campaign. We need volunteers to take a shift at the table! Contact Jane Lessenger 421.2072 if you would like to participate.
