U&I 4 USI has had a great 2024! We have had fun spending time together and raising funds while spreading the word about our campaign and the USI mission. We have worked together, prayed together, listened to Elvis together, ate pizza together, the list is too long.
As with many of you, before we started the adventure, I knew nothing about USI. Likewise, USI knew nothing about First Christian Church Cheyenne. Now we are two groups working together.
As you continue to think about our campaign in 2025, I want you to be aware that our church is making more of an impact than many of us realize with this campaign. Rosie is the treasurer of the East High National Honor Society chapter and during a meeting, they were trying to determine some place or agency to donate raised funds for. Rosie suggested USI, and until that day, the others in the room had never heard of USI. After the group learned more, they decided to choose USI as their agency to donate money to. Without our campaign, this connection would have never happened. Our reach is farther than we know.
2025 is going to be a stellar year for U&I 4 USI. We will meet our fund raising goal and finish with a party in January 2026 to celebrate what we have done and that our church has been serving Cheyenne for 100 years!! I am so glad we are on this journey together and can’t wait to see what fun things we do in 2025.
