Wow, has it been a wild ride. 3 years ago, we started with a crazy idea to celebrate our 100th anniversary with a campaign to help homeless teen moms. I know many of us, me included, wondered how we were going to do it, but I had faith we would figure it out because that is what FCC Cheyenne does.
I was unable to attend our last two Culver’s fundraisers, but listening to the stories afterwards was so much fun. As our members were delivering food to tables and people would ask why we were there, the residents of Cheyenne were very generous and touched that we were working on something so important. There were stories of moms who wished they had something like this when they were in need. A story about someone who did have help but knew of others who did not. This campaign has touched the hearts of us at FCC Cheyenne, but even more importantly, it is touching those outside of our congregation.
As of 11/7/25, we have received $189,588 in pledges and donations. If everyone fulfills their pledges and our next Culver’s fundraisers go as expected, we will have about another $13,012, which means we will have about $10,000 left to accomplish our goal. The U&I 4USI team is working hard to get the last few donations, but they need your help. Please reach out to the team or the office if you have suggestions on ways to get us over the finish line.
We will meet our goal!
