Youth & Children - April 2026

Our youth and children are preparing for a busy summer of campfire chronicles and church camp, dreaming away what those days will mean while they finish up the school year! 

Check out the bulletin board in the Narthex for some winter photos of the kids and everything they’ve been doing lately! 

Want to help out? 

• Cook a meal for the youth group! We average about 6 kids each night and love a good warm meal to feed up while we study and spend some time together. 

• Provide drinks, chips, and s’mores items! We’re always running low on these! 

• Join the King Soopers Community Rewards Program! 

• Did you know that the youth & children get all of this money to help fund their program throughout the year? Head to the King Soopers website and search for First Christian Church Cheyenne – Youth and link your account to the community rewards program! Every month, the youth will receive a check. 

• Give an encouraging word! 

• Our youth and children need to know that they’re loved by this congregation through thick and thin. So if you see them in church or outside the walls, make sure to stop and tell them hi and how much you love seeing their faces in the church. 

Summer Camp 

We are sending at least six kids to camp this summer! Historically, the congregation has paid 100% for a child to attend church camp if they are an active participant. If you’d like to financially support a kid going to church camp and pay their way, please send a check or cash to the church office, put in the memo “Church Camp,” and write the check to FCC Youth. 

Costs: 

• Discovery Camp - $140 

• Junior Camp - $450 

• Chi Rho Camp - $450 

• CYF Camp - $450

Junior/Chi Rho/CYF Camp: Sylas, Ashia, Bailey, Parker
