Your Help Is Needed

“Bless the Beasts and the Children give them Shelter from the Storm!”

It is hard to believe that we have homeless children in our Laramie County Schools! Their needs are great as the educators attempt to help them build a strong foundation for their futures!

This is our congregation’s opportunity to contribute items to help these children. There is a marked collection container at the east end of Fellowship Hall for our congregation to help with their needs!

Among the most pressing needs for school supplies would be simple folders with pockets, spiral notebooks, lead pencils, colored pencils, crayons, and pens.

In addition to those items for school, personal items—the basic necessities of life, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc.—are needed. Any and all items for health and hygiene that would also help facilitate the students' learning would be helpful.

Also, to help with students’ comfort and self-assurance, clothing, socks, shoes, and, as winter is coming, coats would be appreciated.

Anything the students and family could use to help them, and help the students arrive at school feeling good about themselves and ready to learn, can be contributed.
