Lent is Time to Self-Reflect

The start of Lent is always a time when we dig down deep and contemplate and do some self-reflection. This Lent we’ll be talking about rebirth, rejuvenation, and resurrection. We’ll go from ashes to rebirth through the six weeks of Lent.
Self-reflection is so important. It’s how we learn more about ourselves, our faith, and our hopes for the future. It’s how we learn about our congregation and our church and the things we may need to change in order to better be in line with Christ’s call for us.
Each week through Lent, we’ll have a lesson and soup after worship on Sundays. Our lessons will be focused on art and ashes, how to make something beautiful from something that is often seen as dirty, and the end.
But out of the ashes, out of what once was, something new and beautiful can and will emerge if we allow it to. So let’s create, and let’s make something beautiful together.
Join us after worship in March and April to make art, to have fellowship together, to get to know each other and have some fun!
