About the Event
Sometimes the longest night is blue. On December 21st at 6pm, we will have a Blue Christmas Service. This is a time for those of us who struggle with the holidays to come together, to listen to the struggles of those who have gone before us, to recognize our own struggles with the holiday season.
Scripture is not only happy celebrations. There is loss. There is pain. We are not exempt from that, especially during the Christmas season. Whether it’s the music or the lights or the constant cheer and joy people expect us to have.
Come and join us on December 21st to recognize all our grief, our loss, our pain, and perhaps maybe find a little healing. All are welcome to join in this service as we light candles for our pain and as we sing hymns that represent our hurt.
This service will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel.
